Humble Beginnings

The Humble Beginnings Junior Executive Mentoring Program works with Historically Black Colleges and Universities to find internship and summer job opportunities for students with black-owned companies or blacks in leadership positions. This opportunity allows students to see successful people who looks like them in positions they aspire to be in. It provides a chance to learn, grow and function in the real world and take the lessons and apply them to their careers and profession. Humble Beginnings provides mentoring to the students and give feedback to the students and businesses that allows for both to see the benefits and shortcomings of how to improve without either feeling pressured to provide feedback that is less than beneficial for both parties.
